New City, New Look

Everyone has a blog. Everyone. Blogs that range from what’s hiding behind your couch to fish-shaped bottles. No kidding!

When I lived in Dallas, I had big goals and dreams for my restaurant review blog. I would dine at least twice a week and write a full review twice a week, which wasn’t realistic for me. I worked full time. I rode a bike 150 miles a week. I spent time with family. Hobbies. Friends. Let’s face it, I had a life. There was always time for eating, but never enough time for writing.

Two years later, and I now live in DC. I have settled into the swing of things, and it is time to push up my sleeves and get to work. What’s cool about the east coast, is that everything is so close. I can hop on the train and be in Baltimore in 1 hour, Philly in 3, and The City (the one and only NYC) in 4. So, why should I restrict myself to writing about food in one city? And, why should I only write long reviews that no one in this day and age has time to read? I shouldn’t, and I won’t!

If you are anything like me, you want insightful, informative…on the fly. And that my friend, is what I will give you. So, here’s the new format:

I will dish out the skinny everyday in 140 characters or less on everything from food trucks, to bistros, to Michelin Star rated restaurants. Once a month, I will post a celebrated chef interview, cookbook critique, or a detailed restaurant review.

Follow me here, and on Facebook, Foodspotting, Instagram, StumbleUpon, Twitter, and many more to come. And maybe, just maybe I will be in your city soon, eating at your favorite restaurant, writing about your favorite meal.

And, as always, read me, eat me…one bite at a time.
